Can I trade in a car that still has finance on it?
In many cases, yes. Select “Yes” or “Unsure” for outstanding finance on the form and we’ll talk you through it. We’ll need a settlement figure from your finance provider, and any balance owed has to be cleared as part of the deal.
What documents will I need?
Usually the Vehicle Registration Certificate (logbook) in your name, photo ID, the NCT certificate if applicable, any service history, and all keys. If there’s finance on the car, please bring a settlement letter from your lender.
Does my car need to be in perfect condition?
No. Just tell us honestly about any marks, damage, warning lights or missing items. Accurate details and clear photos help us give you a realistic indicative figure.
Does asking for a valuation commit me to anything?
No. Requesting a valuation doesn’t commit you to trading in your car or buying from us. Any figure we discuss is indicative, and the final offer is confirmed only after we’ve inspected the car and verified its details.
